With over a decade of experience in branding, copywriting, and business strategy, I’ve supported high-level entrepreneurs in bringing their visions to life.
But my journey didn’t start in boardrooms or brand strategy sessions—it began with childhood creativity, unconventional paths, and deep personal transformation. Let me share a bit of my story...

Throughout childhood, I was the “Creative” one. Writing stories, drawing, scrapbooking, trying out different fonts, styling outfits, even turning old tank tops into purses—I was always creating something.
At eight years old, my sister and I created an at-home "Spa". We went all out—offering manicures and pedicures to my mom’s friends, serving lemon water and frozen grapes, and even making a handmade comic book magazine for the "waiting room" (a.k.a. my beanbag chair).
In Grade 4, I brought home an application form for a new Arts School that was opening up, and handed the completed form to my parents (I ended up getting in and going for 2 years). By high school, I was Yearbook editor, had won a Photography and Writing award, and continued to fall in love with the Arts.
Creativity:A Lifelong Love Affair
The Road Less Traveled
After high school, I went against the norm yet again, and decided not to go to University. I spent two years solo travelling through Australia, Bali, Mexico and Guatemala, and then became a Certified Holistic Nutritionist.
A co-op position on an Organic farm led me to Vancouver Island, where, by pure chance, I landed a role as an Executive Assistant to a high-level entrepreneur.
From ghostwriting speeches and articles to crafting brand identities and running business operations, I became a master of many trades. It became clear how all my skills worked together, and I learned the ins and outs of running a successful business. Through it all, my creative skills grew and shone at the forefront.
An Inner Transformation
Throughout my 20’s, my personal journey of self-discovery deepened. I was healing from years of not feeling good enough, seeking external validation, feeling disconnected from my voice, and struggling with a lack of inner power. If I wanted to live my most bold and courageous life, I had to learn how to embrace my worth, trust my intuition, and to step fully into my power.
I immersed myself in women’s circles and healing retreats, finding inspiration in community with women. It was at a retreat in Joshua Tree that I had my first photoshoot, and I saw the impact of photography as a mirror to our most authentic selves. As I started to share my journey, I realized how many women shared a similar story to me. I began to see that my mission was in supporting other women reawaken their power.
After seven years in the corporate world, my creative passions and deep desire to support women were calling me louder than ever.
You know that quote about leaping and trusting the net will appear? I took it to heart. I left my job and leapt into the unknown. After the fear subsided, all that I felt was FREEDOM. The possibilities for what I could do were endless.
My first month jobless, I picked up my camera again and started offering transformational photoshoots for women. I naturally started attracting entrepreneurial women, and many of my photoshoots became for branding purposes. But without someone to take the vision from beginning to end, I noticed the photos weren’t reaching their full potential.
I realized if I REALLY wanted to make a difference, I had to do it all. I needed to blend storytelling, design, and strategy into something powerful and unique.
And so, Ashley Love Creatives was born—a space where where I help women take the inspired leap towards their dreams through beautiful, authentic branding.
